The Southern Steak and Oyster

SITUATION

One of the finest steakhouses in the Southeast, The Southern had built a brand on great experiences: hickory-smoked steaks, fresh raw oysters, a sparkling, friendly atmosphere, and classic southern fare.

CHALLENGE

Their website told a different story, one that was hard to read on mobile, confusing to navigate, and didn't drive new reservations.

SOLUTION

We rebuilt their site from the ground up with a mobile-first experience, clear calls to action for reservation booking, and an emphasis on images that tell the story of the human experience as well as incredible imagery of the food and optimized menu pages.

 RESULTS

  • Traffic increased 85% within a week of re-launch

  • 604 keywords now rank the site on the first page of Google with an average of 47% click through since the site was rebuilt and relaunched
